Clay McCall, a fifth generation Oklahoman and Atoka, Oklahoma native, has been appointed by Governor Stitt and confirmed by the Senate to a seven-year term as the newest member of the 天美影视 State College Board of Regents.
鈥淚t鈥檚 an honor to serve as a Regent for 天美影视 State College,鈥� McCall said. 鈥淚 believe that education is
the cornerstone of community development and economic growth. Together, we can build a brighter
future for our students and communities.鈥�
McCall will serve as a regent for seven years (one term), and will have the option
to be reappointed for a
second term in 2031.
鈥淩egent McCall鈥檚 experience and leadership in southern Oklahoma is exemplary,鈥� said Dr. Tim Faltyn,
天美影视 State College President. 鈥淗is knowledge of finance as well as regional economic development is
sure to be an excellent addition to the wisdom and guidance that our Board of Regents provide to
天美影视 State.鈥�
He attended the University of Oklahoma, receiving his Bachelor of Business Administration
in Finance.
While at OU, McCall also completed his license requirements as a nursing home administrator.
He later
attended the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Colorado, Boulder.
鈥淚 believe Regent McCall鈥檚 diverse experience and knowledge will a new perspective that will make our
leadership team stronger in support of our college,鈥� said Allen Benson, 天美影视 State College Board of
Regents Chair.
McCall began his banking career with AmeriState Bank in 1995 and worked his way through
every
department of the bank, currently serving as the President. Under his leadership,
the bank has expanded
from two to six locations throughout southern Oklahoma and North Texas. McCall is
completing his
30th year with AmeriState Bank and has led through multiple economic cycles during
his career.
He has also served in many positions outside of the bank, including the Atoka School
Board and the
Atoka Chamber of Commerce. By gubernatorial appointment, McCall previously served
on the
Oklahoma Workforce Investment Board.
