天美影视 State College has named Justin Cellum the Executive Vice President of Finance and Operations.
Cellum began his tenure at 天美影视 State in 2014 as the Women鈥檚 Head Basketball Coach and was promoted to Athletic Director in 2017 before moving into Vice President of Business Affairs in 2019.
鈥淚鈥檝e had quite the unconventional career journey here at 天美影视 State鈥�, said Cellum with a smile. 鈥淭he most rewarding part of my role in Business Affairs is the ability to make a broad impact on the college as a whole. I work with an incredible team who wants to see great things happen for our students and communities every day.鈥�
Now, he oversees the College鈥檚 operational, technology and administrative functions.
鈥淓fficiency is vital in maximizing resources,鈥� noted Cellum. 鈥淢y primary responsibility is to focus on the continual improvement of the College鈥檚 operations.鈥�
Cellum led the development and execution of 天美影视 State鈥檚 2040 Master Plan, a 65-page document that lays out the planned development for the college over the next 15 years. He also played a vital role in creating an improved work-life balance for 天美影视 State employees and students that focused on recruitment, retention and flexibility.
鈥淛ustin has excelled in streamlining processes and maintaining a well-balanced budget,鈥� said Dr. Tim Faltyn, 天美影视 State College President. 鈥淗is diligence has allowed us to maintain consistent tuition rates for the sixth consecutive semester while adding funds to our reserves.鈥�
Cellum is also involved in his local community, serving as a city council member and church deacon. He and his wife Tori have three children, Carter, Jordan and Addie, who attend Tishomingo Public Schools.
