ÌìÃÀÓ°ÊÓ State College recently hosted 146 schools, 505 teams and 1,675 students for the Fred A. Chapman FFA Interscholastic Contest.
The students competed in a variety of contests – from livestock and soils judging to electricity and floriculture, to name a few.
The sweepstakes winner was Byng high school. They won the environment/natural resources, floriculture and nursery contests, and had students place in the top five in other categories.
Top placing schools were Amber-Pocasset, Apache, Broken Bow, Byng, Dover, Edmond, Elmore City-Pernell, Guthrie, Lawton, Madill, Silo, Spiro, Strother and Vian.
