Upon successful completion of the program, you will receive an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Nursing from ÌìÃÀÓ°ÊÓ State College. This degree will make you eligible to take the National Council Licensure Exam, which, upon passing, will grant you the title of Registered Nurse (RN). This program offers a swift and effective route to advancing your nursing career.

Nursing Student Handbook 2024 - 2025

 

• Minimum ACT Reading of 20 or NextGen Accuplacer of 250
• High School Diploma or GED
• Attend a Mandatory Information Session
• College Retention GPA of 2.5 *Each course completed with a grade of "C" or Higher.
• Completed application to the ÌìÃÀÓ°ÊÓ State College  School of Nursing *Applications open in March and October of each year

Nursing Application should include:

• Completed application

• Current student picture attached to page 3 of application

• Official transcripts from high school, GED certification, Technology Centers, and/or Colleges and Universities

• Background check results from Castle Branch completed for the previous 90 days prior to the end of the application cycle.  

• Background check results are due by noon on the last day of the application cycle.
